How do I get started?
Download the setup package of latest version from the download section, and install it by following the guide on the installation screen. Before you use the program, please:
- update your Windows to the latest available service pack, MediaMan requires at least Windows XP SP2 and Internet Explorer 6 SP1 to run smoothly
- set your desktop resolution to at least 1024x768, and set color depth to at least 32bit
- make sure you have enough free spaces on the drive to store the collection file, as well as the temporary directory (typically on your Windows installation drive), MediaMan doesn't need much, but freeing up at least 100MB of space is usually good for all programs
- check your firewall software, to make an exception for MediaMan
Click Start Menu->MediaMan->MediaMan to launch MediaMan after checking the above settings. Your collection file will be empty and all program preferences will be set to default when you first use the program.
MediaMan installation comes with detailed user manual. You can open it by clicking Help->Content and Index on the main menu. Details on how to import items and manipulate them are available in the user manual.
