Hello,
my Virus Program told me after the last scan that the Mediaman Installer is infected, even the installed program.
It was the Virus "VirusBurst" wich was found in the uninstall.exe.
Could this be true or is my scanner mislead?

This is a misreport, and it only occurs with Norton Anti-Virus. The details can be found here:
http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=268351 . I'm not sure how soon they will correct this. But MediaMan does not contain any virus. It's completely safe to use it.
The uninstaller.exe is an component of NSIS installer (
http://nsis.sourceforge.net/ ).

Thank you for the answer and the link. I just updated my Virus Engine an now the scan is negative.
btw i use Symantec Antivirus which is not exactly Norton, but somehow it uses the same Virus Definition.
