Package Problem And Windows 7 32bits By: lacemi Date: October 18, 2009
When I import from amazon I don´t have a problem but I import by typing-in because my games haven´t got amazon I have a problem.
The problem:
when I click on the combo dropdown to change such pakeage to look like a dvd red, It show me an error message that has to close the program, it never works and close the program. But if I do it with an item imported from amazon if it works.
I try changing the shortcut compatibility modes but fails as

Changing the "Packaging" for items containing no cover image should work fine.

Would you please try following the information on http://www.imediaman.com/support/mediaman-brokenfile.html to repair your collection file even if it's reported to be okay? Broken collection files can cause such problems but other programs installed on your computer may cause such crashes too. I don't think Windows 7 is related to this problem.

Thanks for your replay.
I read information on http://www.imediaman.com/support/mediaman-brokenfile.html to repair my collection file but it's reported is ok, and Integrity is ok, I dont be hapen.
Only happens when I hand the item and I add the image. Selecting then this dvd set on going to change the skin hangs and the error message goes and it close Mr. Mediaman. With item imported does not happen, I can change the skin perfectly dvd
I think it may be compatibility with Windows 7, windows 7 generates an event where he says he may be a compatibility with it but i don´t not sure. Are you going to work to soon sell a version for Windows 7?
I have another problem, sometimes crashes when importing and leaves doing nothing.
If I select the item you want to import from the list that shows, does nothing and at this point to lock up.
If I go to windows processes the CPU is working 100%, I have to kill the process and close the program.
Excuse my English, I was not played since college, I hope it is understood.

I assume you are using MediaMan 3 build 1034, the latest one. I've tested it on one of the beta builds of Windows 7 and didn't find such problems. Actually MediaMan works fine on Windows 7. So I still suggest that you try to fix the file even if it's reported to be okay.

I don't have the final version of Windows 7 yet. I'll run some tests as soon as I got one.

Regarding the import problem, please try click the "Amazon U.S." link and see if IMDb is checked, uncheck it as it may cause such problems.

If you are able to click the "OK" button in MediaMan crash window, click it to send me the crash dump report.

Did you try my early suggestion to use the information on http://www.imediaman.com/support/mediaman-brokenfile.html to repair your collection file? It looks like it's corrupted.
