Hi,
I've got a new problem with my collection. Whenever I want to import an image for new media, I get the answer "Mediaman couldn't recognize the format of the image file", even when it is a normal jpeg-file. What's wrong here?

Are you certain it's a JPEG file or it's some other format in .jpg extension? MediaMan should have no problem importing. When it says it didn't recognize the file, then it's not a JPEG file.

Yes, I am sure that the images I wanted to import were real .jpg-files. They were as such as I made them with my scanner just like I made them ever before.
The only difference is that medaman does not recognize them anymore. As for more: I tried to import fotos what are jpg-files as well - just to be sure - same result... mediaman does not accept gif or bmp-files either.
Have you got any idea?

Okay, I've found a way to solve the problem and make my scanner "real" jpeg-files. But I don't understand the difference yet...

Real Jpeg files? What you you mean? What is also the file extension?
